Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better- Jet Lag Gemini Cover The Theme To 'Speed Racer'
Wow, another shitty remake of Speed Racer. We're so lucky.
Can not f**king wait for The Blueprint 3.
Note: 2nd verse lead singer close up moustache/look into the distance shot.
Things to be noted of this particular live performance:
1. Incredibly metro backup singer rocking an 808 Kanye-Cut (Before it was called that obvi.) and a red v-neck...that actually looks like the one I own. :/
2. Rip Van Winkle bass player. Check out that beard.

Check out August Burns Red's cover of Britney Spears' '...Baby, One More Time' here. The song will be featured on Fearless Records new comp, 'Punk Goes Pop 2', which releases on March 10th.

Drawing influence from the Battle Of Cunaxa (circa 401 B.C.), The Warriors was a great new-age adaptation of the classic, courageous story. When the leader of the largest gang in NYC brings all of the gangs to one spot in hope of unification, a member of a gang assassinates him in cold blood. When the assailant notices a member of The Warriors saw him shoot, he shouts to the heavens that 'The Warriors did it!', leaving The Warriors to get all the way back across New York City avoiding cops and every other gang on the way. Although it hit screens in 1978, fight sequences and attitudes aren't dubbed-up, leaving me feeling with adjectives like 'raw' and 'haggard'. A non-groggy plot line plus interesting synth-fueled background score equals a strong recommendation.

As a fan of the Doctor Who series and Tom Baker years in particular, I found this start to such an essential staple in Doctor Who history less than satisfying. What was presented as a plot found no interesting device to carry it through the four-episode storyline. The good news is you meet the Doctor's new assistant: Romana.

Textbook 80's cult-classic, specifically 'comedic horror'. Plenty of pointless female nudity and absolutely brutal fatalities. A good movie to watch with other people.
